GRACIE’S VISION OF A BRIGHT, COLORFUL WEDDING PALETTE

Dreaming of a bright, colorful wedding palette for your big day? So was Gracie! She is the absolute sweetest person in the world, and we were so lucky to be able to help her bring her wedding day vision to life! Let’s chat a little about Gracie and Tommy’s wedding in Colorado, it was a truly such a beautiful and unique event!

Gracie’s vision for her wedding was bright, colorful, and eclectic. So we brought those colorful wedding palette vibes throughout her entire day. It was a day of celebration and the reception was a full on party! Gracie is a wedding photographer, so she knows the wedding industry pretty well. She also came in with a pretty good idea of what she wanted for her day and how she wanted the photography to look. Since they paid for the entire wedding themselves, Gracie + Tommy DIYed a lot of things and bought most of the rest from Etsy and Amazon. But when it came to the photography, they went all out! The photography was incredibly important to her, so they hired an amazing photographer from California to capture their special day.

They also splurged a little on their send-off! They rented a vintage car as their getaway car. It was so cool and the photos of them in the car… stunning!

SOMETHING BLUE

Gracie + Tommy have such an amazing (and big) group of friends. Of course, some of Gracie’s best friends were in wedding party, but as a lot of you brides know, you can’t always have every single special person in your life in your wedding party. SO Gracie came up with an amazing solution to that problem. For those close friends that weren’t in her wedding party, she had them be her “something blue”. They all wore different shades of blue (as you can see above). It was such a special way to include even more people in her day! The bright blues also added some fun colors to her bright, colorful wedding palette!

Gracie + Tommy’s Colorado wedding was a beautiful representation of their unique love story. With Gracie’s vision and attention to detail, the wedding was a true reflection of their love, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The little personal touches and their bright, colorful wedding palette made the day even more meaningful and special. It was a day full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

THE DISCO QUEEN + HER BRIGHT, ECLECTIC RECEPTION

One of the most touching moments of the wedding was the father daughter dance. Gracie’s dad wrote a song for her, recorded it, and then they played it for their dance. Her dad’s a musician, and he poured his heart into the song. It was such an emotional and heartwarming moment. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room once the song started playing.

To make the day even more emotional and sentimental, there were special touches all throughout their day. One of those special touches was a rose that was placed on a seat in the front row for Gracie’s mom who passed away when she was little. It was such a special way to honor her. Gracie’s stepmom also gave the most beautiful speech during the reception and even acknowledged and honored Gracie’s mom. All of the little, extra special touches throughout the day made it that much more of a special and sentimental day of celebration!

Gracie + Tommy’s reception was the definition of a party. They had all the confetti and props. We even made them a super cute checkerboard dance floor. We, of course, love celebrating with all of our couples, but when the dance floor gets this rowdy, the energy becomes electric!
