HAYLEY & MIKE’S LUXURIOUS SURF HOTEL, BUENA VISTA WEDDING

If you could bottle up happiness and sprinkle it like fairy dust, you’d get Hayley and Mike’s wedding at the Surf Hotel, Buena Vista. Seriously, their day was filled with love, joy, and so much magic. Their positivity radiates in a way that could only be matched by their vibrant yet moody wedding in Buena Vista, Colorado.

For those who haven’t had the pleasure to visit the Surf Hotel, it’s is a Colorado gem that masterfully blends European elegance with Rocky Mountain majesty. From its charming ground-floor restaurant to its gorgeous outdoor courtyard, the venue exudes an air of “luxury without pretension”. This was the backdrop for Hayley and Mike’s “I dos,” and it did not disappoint.

A wedding in a small downtown hotel may sound confined, but when you’re at the Surf Hotel, Buena Vista, the world is your oyster. The couple opted to take a little drive into the mountains for their first look. They had a few private moments in a nearby open-field setting, providing a beautiful contrast to their ceremony & reception. The photos? Picture-perfect. The emotions? Overflowing.

HATS OFF TO NEW BEGINNINGS

Speaking of memorable moments, let’s talk outfit changes. Hayley switched dresses between the ceremony and reception. She wore this super cute short lace dress with a custom hat she crafted at a local shop. The couple even did a quick little photo shoot in their hotel room after the outfit change. The photos are some of our favorites!

The florals also deserve a shoutout, not just for their aesthetic appeal, but for encapsulating the vibe of the day—colorful, sophisticated, and tinged with a hint of moodiness. A true reflection of Hayley and Mike’s complex, yet radiant love. They had tons of personalized details all throughout their day. The one that we loved the most was for their dog, Lulu, she was there in spirit and in custom cocktail napkins that were as heartwarming as they were adorable. We love coming up with a creative way to include your favorite animals without them physically being there on your day!

A DAY FILLED WITH JOY

The day was so full of joy and to top it all off they had a live band perform at their reception that had everyone on their feet. Everyone was beaming from ear to ear the entire reception, much like Hayley and Mike throughout the entire day. This Surf Hotel, Buena Vista wedding wasn’t just a celebration; it was a day of palpable emotion, lingering in every laugh, every dance, and every kiss. It’s what happens when two genuine souls come together in a setting that’s this stunning.
