Envision a destination wedding that captures the essence of elegance, with the charming backdrop of The Manor House in Littleton, Colorado. This is the tale of Crystal and Derek’s incredible celebration that transcended borders, straight from the heart of Dallas, Texas to the picturesque landscapes of Colorado. Let’s chat a little about their stunning, destination wedding in Colorado.
When it comes to planning an unforgettable destination wedding in Colorado, it’s all about selecting the perfect venue. For Crystal and Derek, the choice was clear: The Manor House – a historic mansion set against the mesmerizing backdrop of Dry Creek Canyon. The Manor House, located on six acres of scenic beauty, was not only a venue but an experience that added magic and charm to their wedding story. This venue was the perfect setting for their ultra elegant, black tie wedding.
You know we love some elevated neutrals, here at Birch & Honey Collective. These were the key elements of Crystal + Derek’s wedding. Their floral arrangements were a dreamy cascade of white flowers subtly touched with fresh greenery – a testament to their love for simplicity and elegance.
Crystal, our gorgeous bride, made quite a statement with her wardrobe choices. With three dress changes throughout the night, each dress fit the vibe of the night perfectly. For the ceremony, she wore a simple yet incredibly elegant dress that fit her like a glove, and a cathedral veil adorned with white floral appliques that intensified in density towards the bottom, creating a surreal visual. The veil, along with her dress, was a perfect symbol of sophistication and grace, embodying the spirit of a truly elegant destination wedding in Colorado.
The Manor House wasn’t just the venue for their wedding – it was the canvas on which they painted their dream wedding. The black and white checkered dance floor at their reception was the stage that bore witness to the night’s festivities and the couple’s electrifying chemistry. The Manor House holds a rich tapestry of history dating back to 1914. It was once home to the influential Shaffer family, known for their connections with prominent figures of the era, including Theodore Roosevelt. The property still exudes an air of grandeur and sophistication, making it a sought-after venue for those planning an elegant destination wedding in Colorado.
What made their wedding truly memorable were the activities Crystal and Derek arranged for their guests. These included unforgettable trips to Garden of the Gods and Red Rocks, as well as a once-in-a-lifetime white water rafting adventure, complete with a rock jump into 34-degree water. These activities truly encapsulated the adventurous and welcoming spirit of their destination wedding in Colorado.
For the reception, Crystal showcased her keen sense of fashion with two more stunning outfits. Each change of dress signified a different phase of the celebrations, each as stunning as the one before.
Every detail of Crystal and Derek’s wedding was curated meticulously, turning The Manor House into a fairy-tale venue. The venue’s dedicated staff, professional services, and spectacular mountain views played a pivotal role in creating a truly unforgettable destination wedding in Colorado.
